- Thomas Cheval is Excelling at Oklahoma

When Thomas Cheval was a freshman at the Cerritos College, he showed everyone how great of an all-around athlete he was. Cheval used the close competition at the 2014 CCCAA State Championships to help push him toward establishing the nation's best point total among community college athletes... - Cerritos College to Celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year
The Chinese New Year celebration at Cerritos College will bring together community and diverse cultures. To celebrate the Year of the Monkey, the event will showcase performances, activity booths, workshops, free food, giveaways and prizes. Performances include Chinese opera, a lion dance... - African Drummers Kick off Black History Month
The Black History Month Celebration officially kicked off on February 3 with a drum performance by African drummers. Students also enjoyed soul food fried chicken and mac n' cheese. “Each One Teach One” is an African proverb that urge all to share knowledge with each other in the times blacks were denied an education. - Financial Aid Surprised with Trophy Handmade by Student
The Financial Aid team, that keeps winning the campus Food Drive, was pleasantly surprised when welding student Malachi Tangard and Health, Fitness/Wellness Professor Carrie Edwards brought a beautiful flower-shaped trophy made of metal created by welding instructor Jason Foral and student Malachi Tangard. See it for yourself in the Financial Aid office, but don't try to lift it! The Food Drive was part of the Cerritos College Food Project.
- Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards on March 3
Cerritos College will hold its fifth annual Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony on Thursday, March 3 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Norwalk. - Faculty Showcase Concert to Benefit Applied Music Students
The 2016 Spring Faculty Showcase brings together faculty, students, alumni, and the community for the annual event to raise scholarship funds for students in the applied music program.
