  • African Drummers Kick off Black History Month
    The Black History Month Celebration officially kicked off on February 3 with a drum performance by African drummers. Students also enjoyed soul food fried chicken and mac n' cheese. “Each One Teach One” is an African proverb that urge all to share knowledge with each other in the times blacks were denied an education. The tradition lives on.   • Financial Aid Surprised with Trophy Handmade by Student
    The Financial Aid team, that keeps winning the campus Food Drive, was pleasantly surprised when welding student Malachi Tangard and Health, Fitness/Wellness Professor Carrie Edwards brought a beautiful flower-shaped trophy made of metal created by welding instructor Jason Foral and student Malachi Tangard. See it for yourself in the Financial Aid office, but don't try to lift it! The Food Drive was part of the Cerritos College Food Project.

  • Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards on March 3

    Cerritos College will hold its fifth annual Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony on Thursday, March 3 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Norwalk.
