The Cerritos College 16th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk raised awareness and funds for breast cancer research and education on March 31.

"I can't thank you enough for amazing years of support for our Foundation and for the great cause," said the guest speaker Linda Pura, of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
"Through the Walk, we hope to raise awareness about the disease," said Dr. Ni Bueno, assistant professor, Fitness. "It is also a great way to celebrate women on campus who have successfully won their battles against breast cancer."
Sponsored by the Cerritos College Health, Physical Education, Dance and Athletics Division, Student Health Services and Employee Development, the event is held every March as part of the College's celebration of the Women's History Month.
