Members of the Cerritos College Board of Trustees and administration presented degrees and certificates earned during the 2015-2016 academic year. More than 2,800 students received degrees and certificates, making the largest graduating class in the Cerritos College history. - 11th Annual Transfer Celebration Boasts Record Number of Graduates
The Cerritos College Transfer Center hosted its 11th annual Transfer Celebration on May 13. - New Aeronautical Engineering Technology Class Available
Engineering Design Technology now offers an Introduction to Aeronautical Engineering Technology class. The introductory class covers the principles of flight, aircraft design, and operations, and the basics of aeronautical engineering technology. - Albert Wilmovsky, Instructional Lab Technician, Named Employee of the Month of April
The Outstanding Classified Employee Selection Committee named Albert Wilmovsky as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/ Confidential Employee of the Month Award for April 2016. Albert began his career at Cerritos College in August 2001 starting in the Reading Lab and then moving to the Student Computer Lab. - Outgoing Student Trustee Victor Villalobos Honored
The Cerritos College Board of Trustees presented outgoing student trustee Victor Villalobos with a certificate honoring his outstanding service to the board and on behalf of students. - Emergency Response Drill Schedule for June 3
On Friday, June 3, the campus will participate in an active shooter response training with Campus Police, the Norwalk Sheriff Station, L.A. County Fire Department and other law enforcement agencies. There will be a large number of police personnel on and around campus, and the possible use of L.A. County Sheriff helicopters over the College.
