Marisol is an EOPS and LINC Counselor at Cerritos College and provides students academic, career and personal counseling.  Her goals as a counselor are to meet the student where they are at, make them feel comfortable, and have a conversation about their goals and what they need to do to achieve them.  She earned a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach in Journalism and a master's degree from California State University, Northridge in Counseling.  She enjoys working with foster youth and other underserved student populations.  She enjoys hiking, running, snorkeling, traveling and eating at new restaurants.

Lizett is an EOPS/CARE Counselor at Cerritos College and helps students identify their inner strengths they already possess that will help them navigate the college going experience and achieve their goals.  She earned a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Social Work and a Master's degree from California State University, Long Beach in Counseling: Student Development in Higher Education.  She enjoys visiting Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with her children as well as exploring new places including museums, beaches and restaurants.

Henrietta is an EOPS/CARE Counselor at Cerritos College and provides students academic, career and personal counseling.  She also teaches various counseling courses including Dynamics of Leadership with a Social Justice and Service learning emphasis.  Her mission is to empower students through their own strengths of success.  She has earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences: Psychology and Spanish from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Education Counseling from the University of Redlands.  She enjoys flamenco dancing and singing, friends, public speaking, traveling, learning, art, cooking and volunteering.

Marcia is an EOPS Specialist and CARE Coordinator at Cerritos College.  She assists students with orientations and provides the community outreach services and presentations.  She provides single parents resources and referrals to overcome obstacles help them become self-sufficient.  She has earned an Associate's degree from Cerritos College, a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Psychology and a Master's degree from La Verne University in Educational Counseling.  She enjoys reading, cycling and running.

Richard is an EOPS Specialist at Cerritos College.  He provides one-on-one mentoring and monitor student progression and compliance of program requirements. He has earned a Associate's degree from Cerritos College in Administration of Justice, a Bachelor's degree in English from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Master's degree in Leadership Development from Chapman University.  He enjoys reading and watching sports including football, basketball, baseball, boxing and mixed martial arts.

Yvette is the EOPS Assistant Director at Cerritos College and also oversees the LINC support program for current and former foster youth.  She has earned an Associate's degree from Cerritos College in Business Administration, a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton in Business Administration:  Finance and a Master's degree from California State university, Long Beach in Counseling:  Student Development in Higher Education.  She is dedicated to improving generational progress for the students and families she serves by promoting education and empowering students to realize their academic and social potential.
