SERVE Hourly Requirements:
The EDEL 200 course provides students with 45 hours of elementary classroom practicum teaching (4 hrs. observation in the first week, and 41 hrs. student teaching) during the latter part of the course. Under the direction and supervision of the classroom Master teacher, EDEL students help increase student achievement in academic subjects. The Master teacher makes professional decisions and is accountable for student performance. Your assistance, support, and cooperation are vital links in fostering both academic and social student-achievement. The elementary school teachers, who are participating in our program, are all Master teachers. They have graciously volunteered their classrooms so that our Teacher TRAC students can fulfill their EDEL 200 observation hours' requirement.
